Marquette Park is a well known park located on the south side of Chicago. It is one of the biggest parks in Chicago and is the largest ever created by the South Park Commission in the early 1900s. The park consists of two gymnasiums, an auditorium, woodshop, Martin Luther King, Jr. kiosk, and multi-purpose rooms. Green features of the facility include a community garden, rose garden, prairie, and Outside, the park offers four multi-purpose fields, an artificial turf field, 9 hole golf course, lagoon, driving range, basketball and tennis courts, two playgrounds, baseball fields, spray pool, and the Darius Monument.
